Valentino is also my favorite professor in four years at CSU. Not only did he enthusiastically teach us all about sign language and Deaf culture, he genuinely cared about each of us. When I had to go into his office hours to make up a quiz, we ended up chatting for a while about everything from the snow to racquetball, just because he's so nice. It is very hard to do poorly in his class because he is so helpful to all the students and is willing to work with you if you have to miss class once in a while for other events.

Valentino is the best professor at CSU. He comes to class every day with enthusiasm, creative ways of teaching the material, and a positive attitude. He is approachable, understanding and genuine to all his students. The rate at which we learn in this class in unbeatable. We had a guest lecturer come to ASL 2 class and she guessed we were at level 4. This reflects how great a teacher Valentino is, as we are all fully able of having a lengthy conversation with a Deaf person in the community. Even though the class is 5 days a week, he makes you want to never miss a day. He is BY FAR my favorite teacher I've ever had. Take this class if you can!
